Here’s one of the firs pictures from my time back in the U.S. One of the first things I did was go visit my girlfriend in Illinois.

 

Lack of Updates

   Sorry it’s been a long time since I posted anything. I’m more disappointed with myself, but life can get in the way of things sometimes can’t it? I got a part time job, which has taken some getting used to and there’s also personal crap going on at “home” right now.
   I swear I’m working on photos though!  I am editing big batches of photos in Picasa from when my girlfriend was here visiting and slowly working towards present day photos. I’m weird like that, I can’t skip around my photos. I promise that I have some interesting photos to share. I also recently acquired a trial of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop (CC).  We’ll see how much those improve my photography skills.

Back From Wisconsin!

I’m back from Wisconsin! More specifically The Green Bay area. Even more specifically, De Pere. My girlfriend is all moved and settled in, and (only somewhat) unfortunately I’m back in NYC, starting a job finally. I didn’t take that many photos while I was there. The easy excuse would be to say that Wisconsin is boring and has nothing to offer photographically anyway.  I was also somewhat land-locked in my girlfriends place as I can’t drive and she was out at work most of the time, and you could’t really even walk anywhere of interest. However, there is some very nice foliage there, and I’m sure I could have found interesting places to shoot given the time to find some. I also think that with the right eye you can find an interesting shot in almost anything. Well, before rambling on forever, I did take some pics, and some especially cool ones from the airplane window on the way back. More photos to come soon!
